Congrats to Space Launch Delta 45 for setting yet another record: 100 orbital launches from Kennedy / Cape Canaveral this year (and counting)! This is by far the most launches in a single year of any spaceport in the world. Here’s a chart showing orbital launches (including failures) from the top four launch sites throughout history. Kennedy / Cape Canaveral is on a tear, and Vandenberg is not far behind. Plesetsk peaked at 70 in 1977 and has been on the decline ever since. (Todd Harrison via LinkedIn)
