Born this month: Dr. Nancy Grace Roman, NASA’s first chief of astronomy. Known as the ‘Mother of Hubble’ for her role in making the Hubble Space Telescope a reality.

The Apollo 10 crew nicknamed their Command Module ‘Charlie Brown’ and Lunar Module ‘Snoopy’. NASA’s Al Chop approached Charles Schulz in the 1960s about Snoopy becoming a symbol for the space program, and Schulz agreed.

Lithuania becomes the 40th nation to join the Artemis Accords.

Chinese commercial space company DEEP-BLUE completed a 215-second hot-fire test of its Nebula-1 vertical-takeoff/vertical-landing hopper.
